A dad's work (and a husband's, and a worker's, and a student's) is never done...
Wow. I have been busy busy busy.
First of all, I have been working 40+ hours a week at my great job. I love my job, but I've been having to work through lunches and some overtime in order to get things sorted out. The life of a worker in my field is never done.
Then when I get home, I have four kids to take care of. They are wonderful, don't get me wrong, but they keep us very busy. Ben is now 10, Dylan is 8, Emilie is 5, and Zachary is 19 months old. I will post pictures soon. My wife is wonderful and very dedicated to me and the kids. Bonnie's starting to branch out, by selling Mary Kay. It's not going great at all, and it's kinda a waste of her precious time. She ain't making jack and we have boxes of makeup in the basement.
Then I am in graduate school. I am pursuing my Master's degree in Diplomacy from Norwich University via online learning. It's awesome in its flexibility but it's another twenty hour a week job. My recent posts have been school-related topics of discussion, and for that I apologize. I just thought you'd like to read what graduate students have to go through to get that little piece of paper. It's especially hectic this week, since I have a ten-page research paper due on Sunday night at midnight. But I get good money for it, since I am pulling my GI Bill money in order to help pay for it. I'll be done in late August. Then a long break from school.
Then my extra-curricular activity is the Mormon Choir of Washington DC. That is my Thursday night happiness. Bonnie is nice enough to let me trek down to Northern Virginia for the rehearsals even though it's bath night (for the kids).
So when I say I haven't had time to post life stories or random political/social musings... you now understand why.
