On the eve of a
Guster concert in Baltimore
, it makes me reflect on previous concerts I have attended...
I have been to the following concerts (as best as I can remember):
Bobby McFerrin (with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra)
UB-40
Gin Blossoms
Barenaked Ladies (four times)
Tara McLean
The Odds
Victor Borge
Toad the Wet Sprocket (twice)
Dido
Joan Osborne
The Cranberries
...hmmm, I can't think of any more, though after tomorrow night I can add
GUSTER
to the list!

Dave Matthews Band, Bare Naked Ladies, Jack Johnson (my absolute favorite!!!), and Woodstock 1999 which I guess counts as multiple concerts since it would take forever to list all the musicians who played there. My favs from that had to be Rusted Root, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, and I cant even think it was so long ago! BTW Guster played that too

Jimmy Buffet, Grateful Dead, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, New York Philharmonic, Toby Keith, Tracy Byrd, Blue Ridge Blues Festival, Ted Nugent, Kiss, Tom Petty, Charlie Daniels, Hank Jr, David Allan Coe, Devo, Skynard, Stones, Steppenwolf, Queen, Supertramp, Little Feat.
That's all I can remember right now.

Bush
Goo Goo Dolls
No Doubt
Bryan White
Tracy Lawrence
Collective Soul
Sugar Ray
TSO
Snoop Dogg
Red Hot Chili Peppers
3 Doors Down
Staind
I'm probably forgetting a couple.
I had Pearl Jam tickets but didn't go because I was nursing and didn't want to mess up baby's schedule.
I have U2 tickets right now, but they keep moving the concert date around.
AND...I was *this* close to buying TOOL tickets (can you believe they're coming to Hawaii?? I LOVE TOOL!), but the concert is in mid-Aug. and I'm afraid it will be too loud for little Isabella's ears.
Why are there are always tons of concernts when I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Okay, Guster's show last night ROCKED. Fantastic show, many great songs. If you're willing to try new music, I highly recommend Guster.
I can add two more bands to my list now:
Ray LaMontayne
Guster

We missed a 1999 BNL concert in Salt Lake due to my being in Basic Training. First time we saw BNL, my wife was three weeks from her due date with our first child. That was an uncomfortable show for her.

Another JU blogger asked this once... I think I stopped listing after about 60 bands... but I guess when I started doing security and medic support for concerts, I gave up my amature status... right? ;~D
